Employment Opportunities
Periodically we bring creative and motivated people onto our team to aid in creating unique landscapes and water features. If this is something that may interest you, please contact us.
What kind of water features are available?
We create water features that blend in with the surroundings, usually a natural setting. For example, we use rocks and logs that you might see in a mountain stream.
Water course features that we have incorporated include cascading waterfalls, meandering above- and below-ground streams, rapids, narrows, and spillways emptying into pools or pondless systems.
We have created a swimming garden with a seven foot tall waterfall, waterplants, fish and a sandy beach. Bring your dreams to us and we’ll make them happen!
What is a “pondless” system?
A pondless system is any sort of watercourse that empties into an underground reservoir for re-circulation, as opposed to finishing into a pond or pool.
What kind of maintenance is required with a water feature?
Water features that we create, are designed to “look after themselves”. With the proper design and components, we create an ecosystem that ensures crystal clear water. Our systems automatically compensate for lost water.
How do I shut down or start up the new system you have created for us?
We offer a service for our water feature clients, to start their systems in the Spring for continual operation until the Fall. At that point, we will winterize the systems.
What is “naturalization”?
Naturalization, or naturalscaping, is the process of restoring disturbed land to its natural state utilizing indiginous trees, shrubs, grasses and groundcovers.
What is traditional landscaping?
Traditional landscaping, or traditionalscaping, is the process of incorporating ornamental trees, shrubs and groundcovers into a project. The plant material that we use is hardy to our climate.
What is “xeriscaping”?
Xeriscaping is a type of naturalscaping that emphasizes water conservation and efficiency of water use. It typically uses drought-tolerant plants and strategic irrigation.
